Spices

I would like writing about the spices. I think spices have been well known around the world and also in most part of countries they are part of special culture. The spices have old story. Some articles explain that spices were high priced commodities.  The initial international trade was between Europa, Indian and China. Merchant transported in a large bulk in order to justify the expense. Especially Europa bought a lot mounts of spices. The spices are an important ingredient into the countries tradition. Most countries have their traditional spices. For example, Indian food has always been present in their recipes, such as the curry. It is a dark yellow spice with deeply tasty flavor, and smell.

I think that spices are really interested because they are part of our daily food, and memories. According to Wikipedia “The spice is a dried seed, fruit, root, bark, or vegetable substance primarily used for flavoring, coloring or preserving food. Sometimes a spice is used to hide other flavors.” There are some examples of the species Bridgeport Seasoning: Curry Powder, Thai, Garden Salad Seasoning, Pepper, Ground, Salt, and Porcini. The species have been well known business. Today we can see many groceries store as Central Market, Whole food. These groceries stores have a special section for spices. I remember in Turkey the famous the Spices Market.

Moreover, spice may have other uses, including medicinal, religious ritual, cosmetics or perfume production, or as a vegetable. For example, turmeric roots are consumed as a vegetable and garlic as an antibiotic. Ginger used for cough. Most of these are present in our memories. For example, one deep memory that comes to my mind is the smell of paella in the house. I remember her drawers of seasonings and spices whose smell fully impregnated the kitchen and the pantry. She used natural, fresh ingredients and a lot of seasoning and spices; therefore, the test of her food was also unforgettable.
